National Women’s Liberation
New York City Chapter
National Women’s Liberation has been building a multiracial grassroots movement for women’s liberation in New York City since 2009. We believe that everyday people make change — not the government, the courts, or the media.
We organize through consciousness-raising, political education, reading groups, and direct action to fight male supremacy, white supremacy, and capitalism.
We work in coalition with labor, feminist, socialist, and community organizations, including the Campaign for New York Health, New Yorkers United for Child Care, NYC-DSA and the NYC-DSA Socialist Feminist Working Group, and The People’s Forum.

About National Women’s Liberation
National Women’s Liberation (NWL) is a multiracial feminist group for women who want to fight back against male supremacy and win more freedom for women. We organize through local chapters, campaigns, political education, and consciousness-raising. Women of color also organize together in our Women of Color Caucus, whose leadership and political analysis help shape our strategy and focus.
Our meetings are open to women and trans people who do not benefit from male supremacy, because we believe we must lead the fight for our own liberation.
